JAMIE ARENA

is a graduate from the Nicholson School of Communication and Media at the University of Central Florida with studies in Film and Journalism. 

Arena is a freelance Writer, Reporter, and Production Worker based in Orlando, FL. Her overall goal is to amplify and bring to life diverse stories that make people feel connected and inspired. The intersection of art and advocacy is at the heart of her theory of change. Drawing from her organizing background, much of Arena's writing takes a political and social viewpoint, with a focus on media reporting and cultural criticism.

She also works with an Orlando local non-profit music festival called MadSoul Music and Arts, where they raise money in support for abortion funds, LGBTQ+, & community organizations while giving artists an opportunity to showcase their talents in multiple artistic mediums.
